  Rented a paddle boat with my daughter for 2 hours, fair prices. The staff were kind & patient helping us into & out of the boat. What a beautiful landscape with islands go around, bridges to go under, a spurting fountain in the middle of the river. Fun & relaxing all at once. A word of caution though; be weary of the swans if you decide to get a bag of corn to feed them. My daughter and I were attacked by a swan, they are bigger and scarier than you'd think. It frightened us at the time but we were laughing about it right after.

  Your visit to Stratty isn't complete without some paddling in the Avon.
  
  Great little shop got me started on Kayaking. Their Kayaks are stable enough for beginners, and they even have some more narrower Kayaks for people with the experience. The boats are in great condition.
  
  They've also got 2 person pedal boats which are great for taking your kids out.
  
  BBQ and seating area is nearby, and they even have corn to feed the birds.

  Had lunch and went canoeing on Lake Avon it was fair priced and the meal was great I would definitely return and recommend.

  Rented a paddle boat with the missus to enjoy the afternoon. Very enjoyable. Just beware of the swans - they will ruthlessly pursue you in the water and snap at you if they think you're carrying food!
